Wimborne Minster can be seen in the background of the view through the now abandoned Cuthbury Allotments.
The council, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that the allotments should make way for capitalism and will be replacing them with houses. The building of houses on the allotment grounds will take away the natural flood plains from the adjacent River Stour. Houses don’t make for good flood plains.
I will be taking photos of the now decaying allotments as part of my daily photo project as a weekly project.
